Anniversaries should be planned in advance if you are thinking of going away somewhere or simple taking a few days off from work. Traveling is a perfect way to celebrate your 30^th wedding anniversary. You can choose from lots of amazing destinations such as Aruba, Seychelles, Greece or some lovely cities. There are lots of places to see and lots of things to do with your spouse. If this is something that you both enjoy then this would have to be the perfect anniversary for you.

If you cannot afford  to take days off from work or if you simply want to stay home, you can still have an amazing time. Go to a country club or to the countryside and plan an amazing day with your husband full of fun activities. You could fish, swim in the lake, go hiking and so on. If you love water sports you could rent a boat or maybe even go sailing. It depends on your budget and how much free time you have on your hands. Throwing an anniversary party each year can also be a great tradition.

So why should this year be any different? Gather all of your friends, hire a caterer and rent a lovely location near the seaside or a lovely garden where you can even set up some tables. If you do decide to have a party then make it a good one. Hire a band to play live music and even purchase some decorations like flower arrangements and consider giving the guests some wedding anniversary favors to take home. You should also order an anniversary cake.

It can be a very impressive one in size or it can have a unique design to it. You can personalize the cake by adding your picture on it or by adding some comical toppers. There are lots of things to do when you have such a big party to plan. But remember that this day is about the two of you so if you feel comfortable staying at home and having a romantic dinner with your husband, do so. The way you want to celebrate this day is up to you.
